Bracketology 2021: Indiana, Florida and Oklahoma among biggest winners

All things considered, we’ve actually made it a decent amount into a college basketball season that has been greatly affected by the national pandemic. Despite the turmoil affecting the entire world, there continue to be college basketball games, even among the nightly cancellations and postponements due to infections. We’re nearing February and the end of the season grows closer and closer.
With March Madness on the horizon, the attention towards bracketology will only increase. We’re hitting the point in the season where bubble teams are making their cases, while other teams are tanking their Bracketology resumes. There are still seven weeks until Selection Sunday in this wild, tumultuous season, and there’s still a lot to happen to determine which teams will make this NCAA Tournament.
Another week of college basketball has concluded and as such the fortunes of several college basketball teams have changed again. The conference games produce tougher challenges for many of the bubble teams, but not every team is up for the challenge. Several teams had poor performances, but others really made their mark this week. Nobody has ever punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament in January, but it’s a great time for some of these programs to strengthen their resumes.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at five teams that made those positive impacts this week, and were certainly winners based on their performance.
