The NCAA Basketball Sunday Mailbag is going to look a little different this week. The season is getting deeper and as the NCAA tournament resumes start to take shape one thing is abundantly clear. This season the traditional Blue Bloods are not likely to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament and honestly, it has made this season one of the best seasons in recent memory.

Nothing against the traditional blue blood programs but when they are down and other teams around them are getting better it makes this sport so much better. That is the whole reason we all love NCAA Basketball in the first place right?  The parity, the fact that virtually every team has a shot at the title before the season starts and it only takes one game to score one of the biggest upsets in your school history. The questions this week are not going to center around any of the blue blood programs and that is a first for the Sunday Mailbag. Those teams are just not good enough to get the regular coverage this year.

Another reason the Mailbag is a little bit different this week is that only one reader submitted a question. So I will provide four other questions. However this week, I would like to submit 3 questions to you and then something to watch for in the coming week.

This year is full of interesting storylines and there a few that need to have attention brought to them. As always thank you for reading and for any of you who have submitted questions it is much appreciated. Enjoy this week’s mailbag.
