The Red Raider offense played among its worst games of the season. However, it was an elite performance on the defensive end that helped Texas Tech. They held Oklahoma to just 18 points in the first half and forcing 16 turnovers on the Sooners.

Mac McClung had his worst game in Lubbock, missing all seven of his shots. However, it was Kevin McCullar and Terrance Shannon Jr. that led the way. They combined for 28 points and shot 9-10 from the field. Tech would then get a road trip to Manhattan, attempting to maintain the second place spot within the conference.

After McClung did not play well against Oklahoma, he charged back and led the Red Raiders over Kansas State on Saturday. Texas Tech turned the ball over just ten times and shot 50 percent from beyond the arc.

Kevin McCullar had a solid week, finishing with 15 points on 4-8 from the field against the Wildcats. It was a game where the Red Raiders slept walked at times, never having a double-digit lead, till in the second half and never growing it bigger than 12.

The next week is loaded for the Red Raiders as they face two of the hottest teams in the conference.
