Claim: Mizz will be eliminated before getting a win

Prior to the Mississippi loss, this is the type of statement to make if one was hoping to create a hot take and to create some controversy, now it seems to be a statement to pile on a team after a bad loss. Rest assured, neither one of those reasons is the motivation to create this article. The greatest opposition to this claim will be from those who put a lot of stock into the AP Top-25 Poll, something this article does not do.

After their victories over Kentucky and Alabama, by five and three points respectively, the Tigers jumped eight spots to No.10. Looking at the AP Poll there are a handful of teams that are better than the Tigers, just not according to the opinions of writers who vote. If one were to use the AP Poll and have watched the teams ranked No.13 to No.17 play, there should not be a lot of argument that Texas, West Virginia, Iowas, Tennessee, and Florida State are better teams than Missouri.

Can the Tigers pull out a victory in a ‘one game means everything’ matchup, of course, the premise of this whole article is that is the exact thing that will happen to the Tigers themselves. Plus, the Tigers have split their two games with Tennessee this season, there is, however, substantial evidence that Cinderella will extend her stay at the ball at the expense of the Tigers.
