What were some of the bracketology winners from this past week?

Every week, heck every game is uncertain at this point, but we’ve made it deep into February. March Madness is right around the corner and grows closer each week. The national pandemic has made this an especially difficult season, especially as a handful of teams continue to be shut down with virus issues. Not everyone is playing, but college basketball continues to rage.

This weekend gave us a greater feel that March Madness is nearing as the Selection Committee announced their early preview of the top 16 teams on the current seedlines. There weren’t a ton of surprises with the reveal, as the top group of teams has been pretty steady for much of the season. Unbeaten Gonzaga and Baylor are going to be top seeds, while the Big Ten is going to supply plenty of top seeds as well.

There are many more storylines, but plenty of time for those storylines to change. There are still a few weeks left before conference tournaments start popping on the schedule, though the time to impress the Selection Committee is swiftly running out. It’s certainly the prime opportunity for teams to play their way into contention, not only for conference titles but for NCAA Tournament bids.

Way before their bubbles will be burst, plenty of teams had opportunities to shine. Even for teams more safely in the NCAA Tournament, there were opportunities for success this week and they took clear advantage. We’ll be taking a closer look at ten teams who were certain winners this week, especially in regards to the bracketology. Now is the perfect time to start a winning streak, especially if it’ll help you get in good standing with the Selection Committee.

It’s tricky to understand how exactly bracketology works, but without further ado let’s take a look at ten teams that really helped their stock this week.
