12. Texas Tech Red Raiders (14-6, 5-5)

There was just one opponent for the Red Raiders this week, at home against West Virginia. Despite 17 points from Mac McClung and an all-around solid game from Kyler Edwards, Texas Tech fell 82-71 to fall to .500 in Big 12 play.

This week features three games for the Red Raiders, including a home-and-home series with the TCU Horned Frogs. Then Saturday features a road battle at the Kansas Jayhawks, who won the first matchup between the teams by just one total point.

11. West Virginia Mountaineers (14-6, 7-4)

The Mountaineers got a win over a top-10 team in Texas Tech, 82-71. Miles McBride continues to play well with 20 points in the game but Sean McNeil was the star this time around, going for 26 points on 8/11 (5-7 from deep) shooting. They nearly made it two wins this week but fell in double-overtime to Oklahoma, 91-90. McBride and McNeil combined for 40 points, while Derek Culver went for 29 points and 14 rebounds.

Due to the Baylor game being postponed, West Virginia only has one game on the schedule for this week. But this one will be another tough Big 12 matchup, on the road at the Texas Longhorns. A win there would set them up nicely to be a top-4 seed for the NCAA Tournament.

10. Alabama Crimson Tide (17-5, 12-1)

The Tide nearly lost two games in a row in SEC play, struggling all night to put away South Carolina on the road. But they were able to prevail, 81-78. Whatever offensive frustration Alabama had, they took it out on Georgia, dominating 115-82. Four players had at least 16 points for the Tide, with Herbert Jones leading the way with 21.

The results from this past week all but assured the SEC regular-season title for Alabama, thanks to both Missouri and Tennessee falling. They can make it official this week, with wins over both Texas A&M and Vanderbilt this week.
