3. Who is winning the SEC?  Alabama or Missouri? – Nick Andre (@NickAndreATR)

The SEC is really bunched up in the middle right now with six teams within a game of each other. Honestly, as the season winds on one team separating itself from the pack and is likely going to win the conference going away. The Alabama Crimson Tide are currently winning the SEC with a 12-1 overall record and are the team that is likely going to win the conference.

The other team mentioned in the question was can the Missouri Tigers win the SEC. As it stands right now, Missouri is directly middle of the pack at 6-5 in the SEC. At the beginning of the season, I originally predicted the Tigers to be a middle of the pack SEC team. Then they started the year 6-0 with wins over Illinois and Oregon.

Missouri surprised almost everyone with how good they started the season. They much like their conference counterparts Tennessee, were winning games with their defense. The Tigers often have a really hard time finding offense and have been really up and down once the conference season has started.

The Tigers are the only team in the conference to beat Alabama but have looked bad in their two games following the huge win. Missouri is going to be a tournament team if they continue to win the games they should, even though they are a tournament team and they beat Alabama they are not anywhere close to winning the league, and barring a miracle likely are not going to win the regular season.

The regular-season title as mentioned is likely going to go to Alabama. They have displayed a special type of dominance throughout the conference season. Alabama as mentioned stands at 12-1 in the league and the second-place team the Arkansas Razorbacks are 8-4.

That leaves the Crimson Tide a ton of wiggle room. Alabama likely isn’t going to need though given their schedule the rest of the way. They still have to play bottom dwellers Vanderbilt and Texas A&M. They also play at Arkansas, at Mississippi State and a home game against Auburn and freshman sensation Sharife Cooper to close it out.

Alabama has a great chance to go 17-1 in the league and a worst-case scenario still sees them winning 14 games with 4 total losses. The Crimson Tide are going to run away with the conference.
