Florida Gators

The Florida Gators have all the parts needed to be a sleeper team in March.

The Gators currently sit at 10-6 overall and are ranked 5th in the SEC at 6-5. While it seems almost evident that Alabama will end up winning the SEC, the Gators should still be in line for a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

While Florida does have a few bad losses this season, the Gators display multiple good wins on their resume including at West Virginia, Tennessee, and LSU. This has earned Florida a spot as a projected 7 seed currently in the NCAA Tournament according to ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.

Mike White’s Gators are currently 30th in the NET rankings and average an impressive 76.7 PPG on 46.8% shooting from the field. Florida has four guards that can give any defense problems, including Tre Mann, Noah Locke, Tyree Appleby, and Scottie Lewis, and have one of the best big men in the SEC in Colin Castleton.

The Gators are good and should be opponent capable of winning any game come March.
