VCU Rams

The current top team in the Atlantic 10, VCU stands at 15-4 overall and 8-2 in the A-10.

While VCU is 0-3 in Quad 1 games, the Rams are ranked 33rd in the current NET rankings, and display a very good defense that ranks 15th in defensive efficiency according to KenPom. The Rams are currently an 11 seed according to ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.

While the Rams aren’t necessarily the best team offensively, they have one of the best overall players in the Atlantic 10 in sophomore guard Nah’Shon Hyland. Hyland averages 19.3 PPG, which ranks third in the Atlantic 10, and also ranks third in the conference in steals with 2.1 per game.

While VCU won’t necessarily blow you away with numbers, the Rams have a special player in Hyland who is good enough to lead VCU to an upset in March.
