3. Michigan Wolverines (15-1, 10-1)

The Wolverines have made it back on the court for the first time in weeks and looked like it a bit against both Wisconsin and Rutgers. But while the offense wasn’t as crisp, the defense for Michigan came through in a big way to get a pair of victories. Franz Wagner came through in the win over the Scarlet Knights with a game-high 20 points.

Michigan now looks straight ahead to an epic top-5 matchup on Sunday, taking on the Ohio State Buckeyes on the road. After that, they’ll face a desperate Indiana team who needs a signature victory on Thursday.

2. Baylor Bears (17-0, 9-0)

Finally back after a lengthy pause, the Bears will have three games this upcoming week. The first two are at home against Iowa State and West Virginia, before taking on Kansas on Saturday. We’ll see how much rust this team has and whether three games could be a problem for their legs. You certainly know that their Big 12 foes won’t have any sympathy.

1. Gonzaga Bulldogs (22-0, 13-0)

No surprises from the No. 1 team in the country, easily taking care of both Saint Mary’s and San Diego at home this week. Neither game was ever close, with the Bulldogs having leads of over 40 points in both games. Florida transfer Andrew Nembhard has been inserted into the starting lineup and the offense has somehow gone to another level.

Gonzaga got an extra two games due to WCC rescheduling, both at home against both Santa Clara and LMU. These teams have been solid in league play and have good players but in the end, there’s no one in the WCC that can stay with the Bulldogs. The only question will be whether or not they can overtake 1990 UNLV for consecutive wins by double-digits.
