11. DePaul Blue Demons (4-10, 2-10 Big East)

DePaul has finished last during the past four seasons in the Big East. This season, it looks like they are about to finish in last for a fifth straight season.

One month after the official start of the college basketball season on November 25th, the Blue Demons were the last power conference team to play their first game of the season after going on a lengthy pause. They put up a fight in their first conference game in late-December and lost to Providence by five in double overtime.

The good news for DePaul this season is that they have only lost one game by more than 20 points. The bad news is that they cannot close out games and find ways to win.

Offensively, the Blue Demons have struggled scoring all season long and are averaging 64 points per game. However, DePaul had their best offensive game on Saturday in almost two months. The Blue Demons went 34-for-54 from the floor (63 percent).

After missing two games in early-February, senior point guard, Charlie Moore (14.6 ppg, 4.5 apg), returned to action on Saturday and scored a team-high 24 points from the bench.

Without Moore, DePaul scored a season-low 47 points at home to Providence in a 57-47 loss on February 13th. It was in a game in which the Blue Demons starting lineup combined for just 23 points.

DePaul is currently last in the Big East in multiple offensive statistical categories, including field-goal percentage, three-point shooting percentage, three-pointers made, free-throws made, and assists

The next three matchups for DePaul is where things will be extremely challenging. The Blue Demons will travel to Creighton on Wednesday. DePaul will then close out the season hosting Georgetown on Saturday and at home against Marquette on Tuesday, March 2nd.
