With Selection Sunday drawing near, it is important that you pick up every win possibly this time of year, regardless of whether you are safe or not in terms of making the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

While you always strive to win, the wins this time of year seem harder to come by. Losses however are what you don’t want this time of year as they can be detrimental to your chances of playing into March.

The last week of February can either help your NCAA Tournament chances in a big way or hurt them in a big way. As we saw this past week in college basketball, there were many teams that helped their chances to either make the NCAA Tournament or to improve their seeding. However, there were also a few teams that struggled this week that hurt their chances to make the NCAA Tournament, or lowered their seeding.

This past week had it all in college basketball. Blue bloods that you thought were done emerging, Bubble teams picking up massive wins, teams picking up detrimental losses, and a battle for the Final 1 seed. If you are a die-hard college basketball fan, this week was one for you.
