Michigan Looks Dominant

Is it time to start considering the Michigan Wolverines as the best team in college basketball?

The Wolverines currently sits at 18-1 overall and 13-1 in the Big Ten, arguably the strongest conference in college basketball this season. Michigan comes in as the #3 team in the country currently and only strengthened their chances to be included in the conversation as the best team in college basketball this week.

The Wolverines went 3-0 this week as they picked up two road wins against #4 Ohio State and Indiana, as well as a very impressive home win as they blew out #9 Iowa 79-57. Michigan flexed their depth in these games as head coach Juwan Howard received great performances throughout the week from players such as Hunter Dickinson, Franz Wagner, Isaiah Livers, and Eli Brooks.

The Wolverines look to be the clear-cut best team in the Big Ten and are emerging as a legit national championship contender along with the likes of Gonzaga and Baylor. It appears that Michigan is a lock for a 1 seed, but are they the top team in college basketball? When talking about who’s the best from now on, it’s time to start considering the Michigan Wolverines.
