Ayo Dosunmu Injured

After getting upset by Michigan State to start the week, the Illini bounced back with wins over Nebraska and #23 Wisconsin to finish the week. Illinois is not on this list because of results, however.

Star guard Ayo Dosunmu suffered a facial injury, and because of it has been listed as out indefinitely. Dosunmu suffered the injury in the week opening loss to Michigan State, a game in which the Illini lost. Illinois was able to bounce back in their next two games, but this injury is obviously cause for concern.

Illinois has plenty of talent to make up for the production of Dosunmu, but they could certainly miss the Wooden Award candidate on the court.

It is unknown how much time Illinois will be without Dosunmu, but this is definitely something to watch going forward as the Illini face a top 5 team in each of their final two regular-season games.
