Gonzaga won WCC Basketball once again and was the first College Basketball team since Kentucky in 2014-2015 to finish the regular season undefeated. Gonzaga has been ranked number 1 in the country all year and should be a lock to be a number one seed going into the NCAA tournament.

The Zags had four players that were the first team All-League which is the fourth time in league history and the first time since the Zags did it in 2018-2019. Corey Kispert won the league player of the year.

The BYU Cougars had a good season as well. After replacing Yoeli Childs. Tj Haws and Jake Toolson the Cougars look to be a lock for the NCAA tournament. Alex Barcello has taken a massive leap, while transfers Brandon Averette and Matt Haarms had good years. Kessler Edwards showed why he’s a potential 2021 NBA draft pick. He along with Colby Ross led Pepperdine to 3rd place in the league. Saint Mary’s had a down year after Malik Fitts and Jordan Ford left school.

LMU had a great year under 1st-year head coach Stan Johnson and Eli Scott was one of the best players in the conference. Scott led the Lions to a 5th place finish in the league. After a 3rd place finish last season, Damon Stoudamire’s Pacific Tigers finished 6th in the league. Santa Clara competed well against Gonzaga in a late-season matchup but finished 7th in the league.

San Francisco had a bit of a disappointing season, The Dons beat Virginia earlier in the year but ended up losing a ton of close games and finished under 500. San Diego finished 9th and had several COVID pauses while Portland finished last and winless.
