Key players in the tournament

The WCC has lots of talent this year, with the Number 1 team in the country and several solid teams there are plenty of quality players. Here are the 5 guys that I think should make the most impact in the tournament.

Jalen Suggs – Gonzaga

A likely top 5 NBA Draft pick in June. Suggs is an ultra-competitive tough guard that excels in transition, is strong and explosive.

Drew Timme – Gonzaga

An incredible low post scorer is shot a ridiculous 73 percent from the field in February and is a huge part of why the Zags have the best offensive two-point percentage in the country.

Corey Kispert – Gonzaga

The likely All-American and potential WCC player of the year may be the best shooter in college basketball and provides great veteran leadership.

Alex Barcello – BYU

Barcello who originally started his career at Arizona is a solid distributor and does a great job knocking down shots behind the arc at a 48.9 percent clip. He’s been the Cougars’ best player this season.

Eli Scott – LMU

An extremely unique player. Scott is strong and uses his physicality to post up stronger guards and does an excellent job passing out of the post. He’s been a big part of why LMU had such a big turnaround.
