NCAA Basketball: Cleveland State, Nebraska and Villanova make up Mailbag

4. What is your favorite College Basketball Logo or Jersey? – Dave (@mulld37)
Dave this is a tremendous question to end the Sunday Mailbag on this season. There are so many good uniform combinations in NCAA Basketball and each uniform is unique. Some are iconic like the traditional Kansas and Duke uniforms and you have the recognizable North Carolina because of their signature blue and Kentucky and Tennessee because of their signature checkerboard pattern. All of those uniforms are great for different reasons.
Staying true to my heart I am going to keep this one very close to home with my favorite uniform and logo. It is one I hold dear and one that I wear proudly even though the team has never done anything of note on the college basketball landscape.
The logo I love is the Nebraska Basketball logo with mascot Herbie Husker spinning a basketball on his finger. They also have a classic set of uniforms with a script Huskers across the chest, Red jerseys that simply say Nebraska and then a set of white and black alternates that really set the uniform apart.
The black alternates have a giant Red N in on the front of the uniform and script Huskers on the shorts. The white alternates are the best uniforms of the set as they have a giant Herbie spinning a basketball logo on them with Red numbers and an old-school throwback logo on the shorts. Are they the best uniforms in the sport probably not, but they are my favorite because they are my favorite team.
