6. Arkansas Razorbacks (21-5, 13-4)

The elite offense for the Razorbacks continues to excel, including scoring over 100 points in a blowout win over South Carolina. Moses Moody had a game-high 28 points, while JD Notae had 21 and Justin Smith had 22 in the game. They needed the offense this weekend against Texas A&M, trailing for a good portion of the matchup. But another 28 from Moody combined with 22 points from Jalen Tate propelled the comeback towards the 87-80 win.

Arkansas now enters the SEC Tournament on both an eight-game win streak and a 2 seed. If they go on to win this conference tournament, there’s a possibility that they could get a 2 seed also in the NCAA Tournament. They certainly have the most momentum among all SEC teams at the moment.

5. Iowa Hawkeyes (19-7,13-6)

Luka Garza has been fantastic all season but some credit also should be given to Joe Wieskamp, one of the more consistent secondary scorers on the season. He and Garza combined for 43 points and 17 rebounds in last Sunday’s win over Ohio State. It was Jordan Bohannon’s turn on Thursday against Nebraska, scoring 26 points on eight made three-pointers to lead them to a 102-64 win.

Iowa finishes up the regular season with a home game against Wisconsin, who has been mightily struggling as of late. In the first meeting between the teams, the Hawkeyes won by 15 points in a game that was barely competitive.

4. Michigan Wolverines (19-2, 14-2)

The Wolverines have been running on all cylinders as of late but that came to a crashing halt on Tuesday against an Illinois team that was playing without star guard Ayo Dosunmu. At home, Michigan was trailing by as much as 30 points before falling, 76-53. They were able to get back on track in Game 1 against rival Michigan State, winning 69-50. Franz Wagner led all scorers with 19 points, while big man Hunter Dickinson had 14 and 10.

The Wolverines wrap up the regular season with a return game at Michigan State, before taking on the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 1 overall seed. Speaking of which, that’s where Michigan will be for the NCAA Tournament. Not overall but certainly one of the four top seeds a week from now on Selection Sunday.
