Big 12 Basketball winded down as the regular season comes to a close. Baylor backed up the loss last week against Kansas, with three straight wins. Multiple teams are coming in on fire, while others’ flames are starting to flare out.

Multiple 30-point performances, a scare from a Conference USA school, and many more happened over the past week.

Here’s a look at the Big 12 Power Rankings for the final week of the regular season.

461. . 2-21 (0-18). Previous: 10th. Cyclones . 10. team

Previous Games: 67-81 loss vs. Texas, 54-81 loss at. Texas Tech, 56-61 loss at. Kansas State

After some positivity to see last week, that got shot down quickly, with a 14 point loss to Texas in Ames. Tyler Harris had a career night against Baylor. It was quite the opposite against Texas, shooting just 1-8 and having more turnovers than points in 32 minutes on the court.

One player that was not disappointing was Jalen Coleman-Lands. After getting his career-high against TCU on Saturday, he made a new one on Tuesday, with 22 points on 9-16 from the field and four made three-pointers.

Iowa State did force 19 turnovers, but fouled entirely too many times, leading Texas to the free throw line a lot.

The Cyclones decline continued on Thursday, led by 8-27 from beyond the arc and just four bench points, from four different players. Iowa State has a solid few players in Harris and Coleman-Lands to make up a  solid team.

However, the lack of depth from anyone besides those two for the future is severely lacking. As the season starts to close, Iowa State was hoping for not just morale win, but a literal win in Manhattan.

In what was a dreadful season for Cyclone fans, the regular season was finally finished with a 56-61 loss to Kansas State. Coleman-Lands finished with 19 points, as fellow senior Solomon Young also chipped in 18 of 6-10 shooting.

Changes will have to be made in the off-season as the Cyclones are so far behind the rest of the conference, even if they have had some close calls.
