Key Players for WAC Basketball Tournament

Asbjorn Midtgaard, GCU: The 7-0 Wichita State transfer has produced six double-doubles over the last seven games, and is averaging 14.3 points along with 10.3 rebounds while shooting a WAC- best 71.5% from the field.

Gorjok Gak, CBU: The former Florida Gator has been able to shine with the Lancers, producing nine double-doubles while averaging 14.3 points along with 10.2 boards and 2.0 assists as well as a conference-best 1.6 blocks.

Ty Rowell, CBU: The 6-2 guard, who leads the WAC’s leading assist man and 3-point shooter, averages 15.7 points along with 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 3-pointers.

Reed Nottage, CBU: The 6-6 Australian guard averages 14.5 points, 5.0 boards along with 2.5 assists.

Fardaws Aimaq, UVU: The 2021 WAC Player of the Year leads the nation with 15.2 caroms a game becoming the first player nationally to average more than 15 rebounds per game since 1980. The 6-11 British Columbia junior, who hauls in 4.3 offensive boards a contest, is also compiling 14.5 points and 1.7 blocks.

Darrion Trammell, Seattle: The 5-10 sophomore guard has topped the 20-point mark in three straight games. Trammell averages 20.6 points. 5.5 assists and 3.9 rebounds.

Riley Grigsby, Seattle: The 6-6 junior guard, who has put up at least 10 points as well as four rebounds in six straight games, is averaging 18.3 points along with 5.3 boards while shooting 39.2% from long-distance.
