(5) Colorado vs (12) Georgetown

This is the classic 5 vs 12 matchup that people love to pick. It has all the makings of an upset. The Hoyas are coming off winning the Big East tournament, while the Buffaloes blew their chance at a PAC-12 title when they lost to Oregon State.

The Hoyas looked like a completely different team in the tournament, but they still lack any major stars and that could hurt them. But Ewing has them playing with a ton of confidence and I think that will be enough to get them to pull off another upset.

Prediction: Georgetown

(5) Florida State vs (13) UNC Greensboro

UNCG is not going to be a pushover for the Seminoles. They come in 21-8 and are giving up just 67 points per game. The problem for them is they haven’t played anybody with the size that Florida State has. The Seminoles have played great basketball at times this year, but also have looked bored at times. As long as the Seminoles come out focused they should get the win and that is exactly what I think they will do.

Prediction: Florida State
