Now that the NCAA Tournament field has been selected, all 68 teams deserve high praise for earning their postseason bid in what has been one of the most difficult seasons in NCAA Basketball history.

There isn’t a more exciting weekend of sports that compares to the madness of the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA Tournament. In this article, I will be breaking down the South Region, which is headlined by two of the more impressive squads this season in Baylor and Ohio State as the top seeds.

These two programs have been very successful in the NCAA Tournament in the past and time will tell if either of those two teams will be able to repeat that success this year. Many individuals are already picking the Bears and the Buckeyes to easily navigate their way to the Elite Eight but there are several other teams that can potentially shock the nation.

Now, without further ado, before anyone decides to quickly fill out at least a bracket or two, let’s quickly analyze the South Region by breaking down some of the favorites, top players to watch, and then the first-round matchups.
