32. Greg Gard (Wisconsin)

3 NCAA Tournaments (4-3)

Replacing Bo Ryan hasn’t been the easiest job in the world for Gard, but it hasn’t been all bad. Though this season might not have been as successful as Badgers fans wanted, they’re back in the NCAA Tournament again. A longtime assistant with the school, Gard did lead Wisconsin to a pair of Sweet Sixteen’s in his first two years while also tying for the regular-season crown last year. Still, postseason success is what matters; can Gard keep the Badgers relevant?

31. Porter Moser (Loyola-Chicago)

1 NCAA Tournament (4-1)

After working their way to another impressive MVC Tournament championship, Moser has his Ramblers in the NCAA Tournament again, looking to replicate the magic of 2018’s Final Four run. This is just the second Tourney trip for Moser as a head coach, though it’s hard to say his teams don’t play well when they get there. Loyola is fantastic again and after a three-year absence will be lead into battle by one of the nation’s finest mid-major coaches.

30. Mike White (Florida)

3 NCAA Tournaments (5-3)

Replacing Billy Donovan was going to be no picnic for White and he hasn’t done a terrible job leading the Gators. The former Louisiana Tech head coach led the Gators to the Elite Eight in his second season in Gainesville but has been left looking for answers these last few seasons. He is leading Florida to their fourth straight NCAA Tournament, but this program is no longer dominating or winning big in the SEC. Can they win big this March?

29. Juwan Howard (Michigan)

0 NCAA Tournaments

It’s weird but true that Howard will be leading the Wolverines to their first NCAA Tournament, though what he’s done in these last two seasons has been nothing short of stellar. He inherited a dynamic Michigan program and has taken his alma mater back to the highest heights. This season’s team played extremely well, especially when dealing with a long pandemic pause and looks to be one of the top contenders to bring home the national championship; all in his second year as a college coach.
