Gonzaga – Buy

The Zags come in as the number one ranked team and the only undefeated team left. They are trying to become the first undefeated national champion since the 1979 Indiana Hoosiers.

They may play in a bad conference, but that shouldn’t take away from how good this team is. Don’t buy into the hype that they haven’t been tested so they aren’t very good. They played a tough non-conference schedule and have beat the two, three, and four seeds in their region all by double-digits.

The Zags match up well with any team in the country, but in the West Region, there isn’t anyone that looks to be able to handle them. Virginia is the four seed and has looked anything but consistent lately. Kansas, the three seed, had to take a pause during the Big 12 tournament but looked very vulnerable. Iowa has looked better but still is allergic to defense.

Gonzaga is a great team, but they got a gift from the selection committee. Anything can happen, but it just doesn’t look like there is anyone that can beat the Zags. The easy money is on Gonzaga rolling to the Final Four. Definitely buy them.
