#6 Nah’Shon Hyland – VCU

The long athletic Junior Guard Nah’Shon Hyland is a tough three-level scorer who if you make a mistake defensively will take advantage of you. Averaging 19.4 points per game and 2 steals, his athleticism at a young age is a huge problem for any opposing team.

Hyland has a knack for getting to the basket and driving his way to the free throw line.  Hyland’s standout game was against West Carolina dropping 31 points while shooting 64.7% from the field.

#5 Isaiah Miller – UNC Greensboro

A two-way slashing guard who can get to his spot on the floor and take the ball away from you on the other, Senior guard Isaiah Miller is dangerous. Averaging 19.3 points and 2.6 steals per game, Miller has the ability to get to his spot inside the arc and have his way.

If you’re the opposing team you also don’t want to dribble too much around him as he will take it in a heartbeat. A standout performance for Miller was in Feb. where he dropped 32 points and stole the ball from East Tennessee State four times.

#4 Jason Preston – Ohio Bobcats

A true underdog story as Junior guard Jason Preston is an inspiration for many young kids just trying to it to Division 1. Preston is averaging 16.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.

A walking triple-double he is and he has even done it against top-rated talent. Against Illinois back in Nov., Preston dropped 31 points, six rebounds, and eight assists while shooting 56.5% from the field. Expect Preston to lead the Bobcats to a few upsets in this tournament.
