Josiah-Jordan James

The team leader in rebounds and steals for the Volunteers, James started in place of the injured Fulkerson in the SEC Tournament Semifinals where he only had 4 points and 6 rebounds in only 17 minutes played due to foul trouble.

Josiah-Jordan James is still however the most likely candidate to start in place of Fulkerson, should he miss games in the NCAA Tournament. James averages 8.2 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 2 APG, and 1.4 SPG for the Volunteers.

James has always been dominant on the glass for the Volunteers but hasn’t necessarily been as consistent scoring the ball. James has scored in double-figures in nine games this season but has also scored less than five or fewer points in eight games.

Josiah-Jordan James is already a consistent contributor for Tennessee, but if he takes his game to the next level, Tennessee can truly be capable of making a deep run. If Josiah-Jordan James can consistently produce while staying out of foul trouble, Tennessee may truly be a sleeper Elite Eight or Final Four team.
