Uros Plavsic

If you were to go off of the recent game for Tennessee on who will replace Fulkerson in the rotation, it’s sophomore forward Uros Plavsic.

Plavsic played sparingly throughout the season, but when Fulkerson was unavailable for the SEC Tournament Semifinal vs Alabama, Plavsic stepped in. Plavsic played a season-high 17 minutes in the contest where he finished with four points, three rebounds, and two assists for the Volunteers in the loss.

Plavsic played quality minutes for Tennessee in the contest on limited preparation, which is why I believe the 7’0 forward will have a better showing with more preparation. Even though Plavsic may be unknown to most, he could end up being a difference-maker for the Volunteers.

While it is still currently unknown as to whether or not senior John Fulkerson will play or not, the Volunteers have the depth and talent to make up for his absence on the court. We know all about the Volunteers’ stars, but if Tennessee gets improved and consistent production from James, Vescovi, and Plavsic, there is no limit to what Tennessee can’t do in the NCAA Tournament.
