Dictate the game’s pace

The Badgers run an incredibly slow offensive scheme, taking their time and working for good shots. Scoring at the 326th fastest rate per 40 minutes, the Badgers must keep this a slow-moving game in order to keep it compatible with their playing style.

Contrarily, the Bears enjoy running the floor with aggression, often scoring off the fast break. If Baylor takes control early and makes this game one filled with fast-paced scoring, they could bury the Badgers early.

This certainly relates to the game’s turnover aspect as well, as miscues more often than not come as fast-break igniters. It all seems likely to come down to Wisconsin’s general composure throughout the game, and with a starting five that includes four seniors, the edge will hopefully tip their way.

Although they fell one point shy against Hartford, the Bears surpassed the 80-point mark during three of their final five games, which illustrates only an inkling of their offensive capabilities. Avoiding an onslaught like this and instead of keeping things a slow and controlled game seems like the only way Wisconsin walks away victorious.
