Injuries

Florida

Omar Payne: Payne could be available for coach Mike White after being held out for his vicious elbow to John Fulkerson’s face.

Tyree Appleby: Appleby saw just 13 minutes of action against Virginia Tech due to suffering facial lacerations from an inadvertent elbow. The 6-1 redshirt junior, who had his eight-game double-figure scoring streak snapped, is slated to be a game-time decision.

Oral Roberts

RJ Glasper: Glasper has been out since the beginning of February with an undisclosed injury. However, his status is currently unknown as he is not currently listed on any injury list.

1. Get the ball inside to Castleton

The Golden Eagles are awful on the defensive end, and Castleton has shown the ability to be absolutely dominant this year. Obanor is  ORU’s best defender, and he rates slightly below average. The Golden Eagles have given up an average of 41 points in the paint against their six high-major opponents. OSU’s EJ Liddell and Arkansas’s Justin Smith had monster games against, and they were among four big men to haul down double-figure rebounds.

Castleton leads UF with an offensive rating of 118.3 as he is used on 22.8% of the Gators’ possessions and takes 21.8% of the team’s shots. He is excellent around the rim and has good mobility. Castleton has an effective field goal percentage of 58.9%, and his free throw rate of 51.1% ranks 100th in the nation. The DeLand (Fla.) native was tremendous against Stetson and Army earlier this year, posting an offensive rating of at least 137 in each game.
