The NCAA Basketball Tournament has been crazy this year, with upsets and double-digit seeds stealing the show. We have one of the wildest Sweet 16’s in a long time and a group no one could have seen coming.

The Big Ten, widely considered the top conference in the country, has only one of their nine tournament teams still playing. The Big 12 who had their own argument for the top conference isn’t fairing much better with only one team also. The SEC for that matter only has two.

The PAC 12 who everyone thought was easily the worst Power Five conference in the country is laughing its way to the second weekend with four teams still playing.

Even with the huge success of the PAC 12 that isn’t the biggest story of the tournament. That would belong to 15 seed Oral Roberts. The Golden Eagles have upset second-seeded Ohio State and seventh-seeded Florida to join Flordia Gulf Coast as the only 15th seed to make a Sweet 16.

The Sweet 16 will feature four double-digit seeds. With all of this craziness, we still are just now talking about Sister Jean and Loyola, Chicago, who are trying to make their second Final Four run in three tournaments.

There are still two teams that look like they are on top of the college basketball world, but do you trust that they will hold serve? Maybe, but with the way the tournament has gone so far anything can happen.

Every team left has played well enough to get to the Final Four, but almost all of them have a flaw that could be fatal. We have to wait until Saturday to get to the next round of games and we can’t wait. But until then let’s rank the final 16 teams of this unpredictable year starting with a two seed.
