Hunter Dickinson and Michigan Basketball faces Florida State’s depth and size

1. Handle the pressure
Florida State is long and athletic. Stop me if you have heard this before. This has been the calling card for the Seminoles and this year isn’t any different. They use that length to pressure teams on defense.
The Wolverines struggled with LSU’s pressure at times in their last game and especially point guard Mike Smith. Smith had trouble with their size and it is possible that could happen again this game. There is no doubt that the Seminoles watched that game and thought they could do the same thing in this game.
Smith has been very good for the Wolverines this year but seemed flustered at times against the Tigers. He needs to do a better job of handling the pressure on Sunday as the Wolverines offense runs much smoother when he is playing well.
If Smith can handle the pressure, Michigan will be in great shape, but if he doesn’t then Howard will have to mix up his lineups. Eli Brooks is capable of running the point also, but the offense is better with Smith at the helm.
When Michigan had success they broke the pressure and got wide-open shots and that could happen again Sunday. The way the Wolverines do against their athletic defense will be a key to this game.
