Obanor and Abmas must be able to go for at least 50 together

When you’re playing as a 15 seed in the Sweet 16, you will need plenty of luck to make history. Oral Roberts isn’t excluded from that but besides the luck they already have, they will have arguably the two best players on the court between both teams in Obanor and Abmas.

What helps is that these guys are two offensively gifted players that can score in a variety of ways. Abmas is only 6’1 and 165 pounds but his quickness off the dribble allows him to have separation on the perimeter, making him able to knock down three-pointers. Obanor is a 6’8 forward that can operate on the outside and is skilled enough to overcome most opposing power forwards.

Both Florida and Ohio State are solid defensive units but not elite at any level. Arkansas fits into that category, ranked 187th nationally in scoring defense (70.4 ppg). But what they can do is apply pressure and force turnovers. Abmas will have to be secure with the ball to have any chance in this one.

Freshman Moses Moody or Desi Sills will have the individual matchup with Abmas, while senior forward Justin Smith should be the one to take on Obanor. If Arkansas can simply limit one of them then they’ll have a clear advantage in this game.
