Michigan Basketball: 3 keys for Wolverines to make Final Four over UCLA
By Adam Childs
3. Balance
The question entering the tournament for the Wolverines was who was going to pick up Isaiah Livers scoring. The answer to that question was everyone.
Everyone in the Michigan rotation has taken their turn being the guy they could turn to. Five different guys have either led the team in scoring or were tied for the team lead.
The balance that the Wolverines have shown is a big reason they are still playing and look to be a legitimate threat to Gonzaga. Michigan has been one of the deepest teams in the country this year and they are proving it.
Having balance doesn’t mean to not keep feeding the hot hand, but they need to make sure they don’t rely on just one guy. They have so many guys that can get hot right now, that is almost unfair.
If that continues they should have no problem heading to the Final Four. The Wolverines need to work their offense through Dickinson down low, but still make sure everyone is involved.
When everyone is playing and ready to make shots this team is almost unstoppable on offense. Keep the balance and they win this game.
