USC Trojans

The USC Trojans had a phenomenal season finishing the season with a lot of momentum, could the Trojans keep that momentum going by landing the former 5-star?

USC finished the 2020-2021 season with a 25-8 overall record ending in an Elite 8 loss to top-seeded Gonzaga. The Trojans roster was talented headlined by Pac-12 Player, Defensive Player, and Freshman of the Year Evan Mobley, as well as guard Tahj Eaddy and forward Isaiah Mobley.

Looking ahead to next year, a potential addition of Nimari Burnett would be massive for the Trojans roster. USC will return at the guard position in particular junior Drew Peterson, as well as a few highly-touted guards including 4-star’s Reese-Dixon Waters and Malik Thomas.

Adding Nimari Burnett would give the Trojans a dynamic guard with playmaking capabilities at any spot on the floor. The Trojans will have to replace Evan Mobley, who will be a top 5 pick in the NBA Draft, and Nimari Burnett is the type of player that could become the new best player at USC. If there is a dark horse team to land the former 5-star, it’s the Trojans.
