10. Haley Jones, Stanford
2020-21 stats: 11.0 PPG, 4.0 APG, 5.7 RPG, 18-33 FGs
Jones picked up her seventh double-double in Stanford’s win over Louisville in the Elite 8. She is the Cardinal’s second most important and productive player, ranking on the team in both scoring and assists while also topping the squad in rebounds.
9. Sam Thomas, Arizona
2020-21 stats: 5.7 PPG, 4.0 SPG, 1.2 BPG, 2.0 APG, 6-17 3pters, 2.7 RPG
The 6-0 senior is a tremendous “3 and D” wing as she is athletic and long. While Thomas is much more valuable on the defensive end, as she can guard four different positions, she is a good 3-point shooter and a solid defender. She attempts more than 60% of her shots from long distance and connects them at a 38.9% rate for the season.
8. Evina Westbrook, UConn
2020-21 stats: 10.5 PPG, 1.2 SPG, 6.7 RPG, 20 assists-to-8 turnovers ratio, 16-29 FGs 7-15 3pters
Westbrook has stepped up her production over the last two games, combining for 28 points on 11 of 17 shooting, including 6 of 10 from beyond the arc. The 6-0 redshirt junior guard has also hauled in 15 rebounds, doled out 12 assists, come up with four steals and a block while committing just five turnovers in 78 minutes of action.
7. Zia Cook, South Carolina
2020-21 stats: 14.0 PPG, 2.0 APG, 4.5 RPG, 6-15 3pters
The 5-9 sophomore is a volume scorer who is pretty prolific from the 3-point line. Cook, who hauled down a season-high six rebounds against Texas, has scored in double-figures in 29 of her 30 games. The Hemisfair Region Most Outstanding Player has made six of her last nine 3-point attempts.
6. Olivia Nelson-Ododo, UConn
2020-21 stats: 11.5 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 1.7 BPG, 19 assists-to-9 turnovers ratio
The 6-5 versatile defensive ace has completely changed her appr the last two games and has been extremely successful, going from a scorer to a playmaking and rebounding machine. After tallying 39 points on 28 shots over the first two NCAA Tournament contests, Nelson-Ododo has tallied just seven points, but she has doled out 11 dimes and grabbed 19 while also recorded six blocks and recorded two steals as the Huskies defeated Iowa and Baylor.
