A couple of weeks ago, I did an article featuring the top 50 available NCAA Basketball players that were currently in the transfer portal. With nearly 1,000 players to pick from, it was amazing that there were power conference starters that I had to leave off.

There were some superstar-level free agent talents, including Marcus Carr, Tre Mitchell, Chris Lykes, and Jayden Gardner. And there are some former top-50 prospects such as Walker Kessler and Kristian Lander that teams have been aggressively targeting as well.

In the 10 or so days since my first transfer update, a number of those “free agents” have recently picked new teams. That includes Lykes and Au’Diese Toney going to Arkansas, center Qudus Wahab picking Maryland, and Justin Powell opting to go to Tennessee. And in the next few days, look for Gardner, Kessler, Xavier Pinson, and a few others to make decisions on new homes as well.

That certainly doesn’t mean that the action in the portal has decreased. In the past couple of weeks, a few hundred more have entered the portal, including several all-conference performers from this past season. Some notable names included Kim Aiken (Eastern Washington), Tyson Jolly (SMU), and Toumani Camara (Georgia), who recently already made some decisions.

But there are still plenty of players who entered the NCAA Basketball transfer portal since April 1st still available for the taking. Rather than re-write a new piece incorporating everyone again, here are the top 20 new names to keep an eye out for.

Players listed are portal entrants from April 1st-12th.
