Mac McClung, Adam Miller among top 20 new available NCAA Basketball transfers
4. F Christian Bishop – Creighton Bluejays
2020-21 stats: 11.0 ppg and 6.4 rpg
As a 6’7 power forward, Bishop is an interesting player as he’ll be much more likely to play center than power forward. The junior has made a grand total of two three-pointers in three seasons and doesn’t stretch the floor. However, Bishop can operate from the perimeter to drive and create mismatches against other centers, while being an underrated rebounder and defender.
Due to his lack of shooting, Bishop will have to fit well as his next stop, mainly playing with a stretch forward or center in the frontcourt. But the consistency factor of Bishop and that he’ll always get you around 9-12 points a game will be very helpful for the program that can land him.
3. G Adam Miller – Illinois Fighting Illini
2020-21 stats: 8.3 ppg and 2.8 rpg
The former top-40 prospect was a surprising addition to the portal, despite starting all of this past season as a freshman for Illinois. Miller had the best of debuts, scoring a season-high 28 points against North Carolina A&T. The 6’3 guard had to play 3rd or 4th fiddle behind star guard Ayo Dosunmu and Kofi Cockburn so it’s hard to judge Miller just by stats.
But Miller has the raw ability to be a fantastic scorer at the power conference level and wants to be a lead guard. Teams have had plenty of interest and at the right spot can become an all-conference performer.
