Oregon State Beavers

After a Cinderella-type run in the NCAA Tournament where the Beavers reached the Elite 8 for the first time since 1981-82, there are arguably few teams with more current momentum than Oregon State. Can the Beavers keep the momentum going, and land the veteran transfer?

The Beavers are set to lose leading scorer and All-Pac-12 First Team guard Ethan Thompson, as well as guard Zach Reichle. As mentioned previously with others, however, Goldwire wouldn’t necessarily replace the offensive production, but Oregon State would be an ideal situation to step in and “break out.”

Oregon State will return talent at the guard position led by second-leading scorer Jarod Lucas and Gianni Hunt. The Beavers however will also bring in one of the top JUCO guards in the country in 3-star DaShawn Davis, as well as Fairleigh Dickinson transfer Xzavier Malone.

If Goldwire wants a place where there will be talent already set around him, along with an ideal situation to break out, it might be in Corvallis with the Beavers.
