After a crazy 2020-21 NCAA Basketball season in which just about everything that normally happens during a college basketball season didn’t, the offseason is so far is off to an even crazier start due to the NCAA Transfer Portal.

The Transfer Portal has become a place for players to be “re-recruited” where they enter their name and are then able to be contacted by other schools. This usually then evolves into the player then making a final list and then deciding on where he will transfer for the next season.

Last week I put out a list of the Top 20 NCAA Basketball transfers of the offseason so far which discussed the individual player decisions, as well as ranking the top transfers of the offseason up to that point based off of talent and the fit with their new team. This will however be about the teams that have “won” the transfer portal up to this point.

Now I feel like I need to clarify something about this article. This is about the teams that have “won” the transfer portal so far this offseason based on the additions that they have made alone. Yes, a few of these teams have arguably lost more to the transfer portal than they have added, but this is solely talking about the additions that these teams have made. Now, this list will most likely change as the offseason goes on, but it’s fun to pause and look back at the past couple of weeks.

With that being said, let’s pause and do just that. Here are the 10 teams in NCAA Basketball that have been the biggest winners of the offseason so far due to the additions they have made through the transfer portal.

List includes players that have committed as of April 21, 2021.
