. Nittany Lions . 11. team. 491. .

Pat Chambers resigned/was fired right before the season started and it looked like the Nittany Lions were in trouble. They just lost their coach and had to replace Lamar Stevens, who was awesome for them in his time at Penn State.

While they struggled at times they still were very competitive and even pulled off some upsets. They took out Virginia Tech in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, Maryland twice, and Wisconsin once.

The hope is that new head coach Micah Shrewsberry will have the program in a consistent spot in the conference. He’s the third head coach in just two years so there’s a huge need for some stability, which will help rebuild the roster.

They will still play hard and give Big Ten teams fits, but they are still not talented enough to win every day. They could mess around and be near the middle of the Big Ten next year, but more than likely they will hover around the ten spot all year long.
