By now we all knew how the story goes. RIsing from a David to a Goliath, Gonzaga Basketball ran through the 2020-2021 season with practically no hiccups. Winners of their first 31 games but ultimately fall short once again of winning the NCAA tournament.

America loves a cinderella story, It used to be heartwarming anytime Gonzaga made any sorta run in the tournament or had a dominant regular season. But with sustained success comes responsibility. After years and years of ascending success, critics will be loud until the Zags hoist the trophy.

The Zags have a couple of different ways to approach next season when it comes to their lineup. With some athletic guards and some young forwards, we could see a smaller lineup coming out of the gate. But the way I see it with so much talent in the frontcourt why not roll out a giant lineup and see what transpires.

Gonzaga did show some major weaknesses in the title game that surely Coach Mark Few will take into consideration when he picks his five. Defending athletic guards. Yes, Baylor had two of the most dynamic guards in the nation last season but I am sure it is still going to be a factor. Either way coach Few has plenty of riches either way he desires.
