Nebraska Basketball bringing in a historic 2021 recruiting class

Outlook
Hoiberg is going to make Nebraska hard to overlook on the recruiting trail. His NBA prowess both as a player and as a coach holds a lot of appeal on the recruiting trail. It also doesn’t hurt that Nebraska has now landed their first five-star. Securing five-star recruits is an exclusive club that not everyone is part of and Nebraska has a lot of momentum on that front going forward.
It also doesn’t hurt that the Huskers have the brothers of five-star recruits on their roster already that is what helped them land Bryce McGowens and they are currently after another top recruit in Simeon Wilcher who is the brother of current husker CJ Wilcher.
Outside of Wilcher, the coaching staff has already secured some visits from some really big names in the 2022 class including Nebraska natives Jasen Green and Isaac Traudt. In addition to those two players, the Huskers have an official visit set up with fellow five-star in the 2023 class Omaha Biliew.
These are all players that Nebraska has a legitimate chance on and all players are guys who have multiple high major offers. Traudt has seen his recruitment really take off over the last year and he would be a big add for Nebraska if he chooses to stay in-state.
For those that are interested in things like this. Nebraska recruits are going to be very well represented in the premier AAU leagues. The NIKE EYBL has two players playing for MOKAN Elite in Omaha Biliew and Jasen Green. The NY Rens also have Simeon Wilcher. In the Under Armour circuit, Isaac Traudt plays for the Nebraska Supreme.
Expect these players to have great AAU seasons and the offers are going to roll in as well as many eyes are going to be in the gym to watch these recruits play, including the Nebraska staff. Things are looking up for Nebraska as the talent rolls in, and one day soon the team is going to relevant and on the national landscape.
