14. G Te’Jon Lucas – Milwaukee Panthers
2020-21 stats: 14.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 5.8 apg
After transferring from Illinois a few years ago, Lucas became and All-Horizon League performer back-to-back seasons with the Panthers. The 6’2 guard was an effective playmaker, capable of scoring at all three levels and can facilitate as well.
Lucas actually started 34 games back when he was with the Illini and has developed his offensive game in a big way. Does he want to return back to the Big Ten and prove that he’s good enough? There will be several programs that could use him as part of their respective rotation.
13. F Bryson Williams – UTEP Miners
2020-21 stats: 15.1 ppg and 7.4 rpg
The 6’8 forward actually put up even better numbers for the Miners in the year prior, averaging 17.8 ppg as an All-Conference USA performer. He’s been a quality post scorer in the past few years and has shown the ability to spread the floor as well.
There’s talk of Williams moving to the Big 12 next season, with both Texas and Texas Tech having been mentioned. The Longhorns have his former coach Rodney Terry as an assistant but they just landed Vandy forward transfer Dylan Disu two weeks ago. The Red Raiders can offer Williams a starting spot in the frontcourt and allow him to continue posting up big numbers.
