Kansas Jayhawks

The Jayhawks project out to be a strong and deep team over the next several seasons, but more so in certain areas than others. Head coach Bill Self has done an excellent job at creating depth in the frontcourt to lean on, specifically with the signings of KJ Adams and Zach Clemence to compliment David McCormack.

Self has managed to secure strong backcourt pieces this offseason as well, but there is much more uncertainty as a result of limited eligibility amongst this group and projections for early departures to the professional ranks.

Morris has the opportunity to provide a lot of hope to a dwindling backcourt group over the next couple of seasons. He’s a very reliable player on both ends of the floor and is sure to make impact plays as soon as he steps on campus. To add to the potential for Morris to become a Jayhawks fan-favorite is the chance to join the team with 5-star guard Keyonte George and immediately form a dangerous tandem.

The pair have similar playing styles and naturally appear to feature a lot of chemistry on the court. With the chance to play alongside each other this year, Kansas fans can increase the noise to get the pair together in college as a dream scenario.
