We have another five-star prospect in the 2022 NCAA Basketball recruiting class out with another list of finalists. This time it’s Dior Johnson, one of the top pure point guards and a consensus top-10 overall recruit. 247sportsComposite has him as the No. 1 point guard and in the top-5 overall

Originally from New York but now plays his high school ball in California, Johnson is a 6’3 and 185-pound playmaker that can do just about everything on the court. A true facilitator, Johnson is capable of racking up assists in each game and is more than a capable shooter and overall scorer.

Johnson was actually a Syracuse commit for a while until he opted to de-commit several months ago. He’s moved around a bit, playing for several different programs but the raw talent is simply too much for teams to want to pass up on.

The five-star prospect has now come out with a brand new list, with four NCAA Basketball options and the National Basketball League (NBL) out overseas in Australia. It’s interesting that the NBL was listed as a finalist instead of the G League, where several top prospects have recently been going to. But that’s the same league that had LaMelo Ball, who since has become a star NBA player and likely Rookie of the Year Award winner.

But for now, let’s just assume that Johnson is still college-bound. There are four very intriguing options that each can offer the point guard prospect something different. Here’s a look at how he’d fit with each option.
