10. Jayson Tatum

Although Tatum’s time at Duke was one-and-done, he was one of the most electric players in the NCAA during the 2016-17 season.

In the ACC Tournament, the Blue Devils defeated Clemson and Louisville in the quarterfinals. Tatum would lead Duke over North Carolina in the semifinals with 24 points. He then led them to a 75-69 victory over Notre Dame to earn the ACC Tournament Championship. Tatum posted 19 points and 8 rebounds in the championship game.

Jayson Tatum averaged 22 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game which earned him a spot on the All-ACC Tournament team.

He played 29 games in his freshman season and averaged 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. He was named to the ACC All-Freshman team and the third-team All-ACC.

Following the season, Tatum declared for the 2017 NBA Draft. The Boston Celtics selected him with the third overall pick in the draft.
