6. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

It’s been a struggle for the program in the last few years in the ACC but there’s hope that the senior core, led by forwards Nate Laszewski and Paul Atkinson, can finally get back to the top half of the conference. But that means that there’s tremendous pressure to have a major 2022 recruiting class, which could be spearheaded by Filipowski if things go well.

He’d be a nice piece for Notre Dame and head coach Mike Brey and would get a ton of playing time in the ACC and for a nationally recognized program. The odds of them winning at first wouldn’t be high though; so would he be willing to be the first top commit?

5. Indiana Hoosiers

The Hoosiers frontcourt has a ton of veteran experience, led by Big Ten Player of the Year candidate Trayce Jackson-Davis, along with seniors Miller Kopp, Michael Durr, and Race Thompson. Odds are great that all four will be gone after next season, leaving a wide-open spot at the power forward position for someone like Filipowski to come in and get immediate playing time.

There are still some questions as to whether or not new head coach Mike Woodson will work out in the college game. But if things work with Jackson-Davis, then other forward prospects like this one will be very interested in the prestigious Big Ten program.
