2021 NBA Draft: Ranking the top-10 players at G-League Elite Camp
6. Aamir Sims
The 6-8, 245 pound forward was solid in the scrimmages, excelling both as a shooter and scorer. He passed the ball well, rebounded decently, and was adequate defensively. However, sometimes he was too unselfish. The former Clemson Tiger could get drafted late in the second round, although it is more likely he will go undrafted and start his pro career in the G-League.
G-League Elite Camp stats: 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists 0.5 steals and 3.5 fouls. He made 10 of 16 (62.5%) shots from the field and 3 of 6 (50%) from beyond the arc.
5. Duane Washington Jr.
After a streaky game 1 shooting performance, Washington was more on point the second go-around. Regardless, the 6-3 guard demonstrated an ability to score and facilitate on a regular basis as well as make plays on the defensive end.
He was able to convert buckets a variety of ways, tallying points at the hoop with either hand, scored on the move, knocked down mid-range jumpers, and a few 3-pointers though the Ohio State Buckeye was quite erratic from distance. Washington may return to OSU as he projects to a mid-to-late second-round draft choice at best.
G-League Elite Camp stats: 15.5 points, 1.5 assists, 1.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 2.0 turnovers. He connected on 12 of 25 shots (48.0%), 4 of 15 (26.6%) attempts from beyond the arc, and 3-of-7 (42.8%) from the free-throw line.
