With the NBA Combine having wrapped up with individual workouts still ongoing, final decisions surrounding whether or not to remain in the 2021 NBA Draft are beginning to loom close.

After outstanding 2020-21 seasons, these players have put themselves in a position to make potentially a life-altering decision. Do you remain in the 2021 NBA Draft in hopes of hearing your name called later this summer, or do you return to play college basketball for another season?

Think about it, go pro and realize your lifelong dreams, or return and become potentially one of the top players in college basketball, and boosting your draft stock even more? It’s obvious as to why this an important decision to make and will have massive impacts on both the player and their teams.

There are still numerous players with decisions to make by July 7, the deadline to withdraw from the 2021 NBA Draft.

But first, some honorable mentions (other decisions to watch for):

  • Joshua Primo – Alabama
  • Ochai Agbaji – Kansas
  • Terrence Shannon Jr – Texas Tech
  • Isaiah Mobley – USC
  • Joe Wieskamp – Iowa
  • JT Thor – Auburn

Here are the 10 biggest looming NBA Draft decisions, and the many impacts they may have for both the player and team.

10. G Marcus Bagley – Arizona State

2020-21 Season Stats: 10.8 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 1.2 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.4 BPG, 38.7 FG%, 34.7 3P%, 71.9 FT%

A player who certainly impressed in 12 games during his freshman season at Arizona State, Bagley has both entered the Transfer Portal, as well as declaring for the Draft. Once thought of early-on during the 2020-21 season as a potential first-round pick, Bagley has recently emerged as a potential second round pick leaving some to believe he will return to school. If he does return to the college ranks as well, the talented scoring guard could become one of the more sought-after players in the Transfer Portal over the next couple of weeks.
