Michigan State Spartans

Losing star forward Aaron Henry hurts the Spartans pretty much in every way, as he was the lone double-digit scorer (15.4 ppg) on the roster, along with their leading rebounder and passer. The hope for head coach Tom Izzo is that Northeastern transfer Tyson Walker will have an impact in the backcourt, along with five-star guard Max Christie and four-star playmakers, Jaden Akins and Pierre Brooks.

While Michigan State does have Gabe Brown back to the rotation, they could add a veteran in Radford to help replace Henry’s production all over the court. With Joey Hauser at the stretch forward and the playmakers in the backcourt, the former Hokie could have a big impact. He also fits Coach Izzo’s system and personality with his grit and toughness, making this a potential match in multiple ways.

Oklahoma Sooners

Head coach Porter Moser is known for having a great basketball culture and is looking to bring that to his new stop at Oklahoma. He’s brought in several transfers, including defensive point guard Jordan Goldwire, as well as Eastern Illinois transfer wing Marvin Johnson.

Where Radford fits is his intangibles would help solidify the culture Coach Moser is trying to build with the Sooners and he adds rebounding for a team that may have questions there. He can play at the 2-4 spots depending on who else is on the court and for a team looking to stay in the top half of the Big 12, he’d be a nice versatile add late in the game.
